AnaSpec is commited to Total Quality Management (TQM) to assure the customer of complete satisfaction. Peptides are produced in accordance to GMP/GLP and ISO guidelines. Whereas peptides produced by other companies are checked for quality at the final stage (QC), peptides produced by AnaSpec are checked for quality after each stage of the production process (see Figure 1 below).

MS and HPLC analyses are performed on the peptide product upon completion of synthesis (Synth) and on the collected fractions from purification (Purif). At the final production stage QC, MS analysis is performed by MALDI and LC-MS and HPLC analysis is performed along with an UV trace. Optional analyses such as sequencing and amino acid analysis are available upon request. Each peptide product is accompanied with complete analytical documentation ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Though AnaSpec's TQM System can be viewed as being "too comprehensive" and does incur higher cost, we believe the cost saving (in research time and efforts) from experiments done successfully with high-quality peptides far exceed the cost saving (in dollar amounts) from purchasing lower quality peptides.
