15th Anniversary - September 24, 2008

This year AnaSpec celebrated its 15th anniversary of providing integrated proteomics solutions to life science researchers worldwide. Since its inception in 1993, AnaSpec has provided drug discovery reagents to some of the world’s largest biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic research institutions.

Starting with a staff of less than 10, AnaSpec now employs close to 100 employees and has more than quadrupled the size of its manufacturing space. Initially started as a company specializing in custom peptide synthesis, AnaSpec now provides a wide range of products including GO™ peptides, peptide synthesis reagents, antibodies, fluorescent dyes, assay kits, unusual amino acids, and recombinant proteins.

AnaSpec’s president, Dr. Anita Hong, noted, “It is extremely rewarding to celebrate so many years of successful business.
