Conantokin G (Con G) toxin is a 17-amino-acid competitive antagonist of N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptors. It was isolated from the venom of Conus geographus and it belongs to a unique family of γ-carboxyglutamic acid-containing Conus peptides.
