The native peptide, RRKDLHDDEEDEAMSITA (cat# 60547-1), is a substrate for casein kinase I. Its turnover rate is higher than that of casein. Its Km is 172 µM and the Vmax is 6-fold higher than that of casein. Phosphorylation rate of this substrate by casein kinase II is negligible.
