HiLyte Fluor™ TR has comparable spectral properties to those of sulforhodamine 101 sulfonyl chloride (also called Texas Red®) with stronger fluorescence intensity. The succinimidyl ester (SE) reactive form of HiLyte Fluor™ TR reacts with the amine group on the protein and forms stable carboxamide bonds, which is identical to, and is as stable as the natural peptide bond. The HiLyte Fluor™ TR-protein conjugates are very stable and are suitable for immunofluorescent staining, fluorescence in situ hybridization, flow cytometry and other biological applications. The kit has all essential components for performing the conjugation reaction and for purifying the HiLyte Fluor™ TR-protein conjugates. The kit is able to perform three conjugation reactions with each reaction labeling up to 1 mg IgG.
