Description

Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) belong to a family of secreted or membrane-associated zinc endopeptidases capable of digesting extracellular matrix components. This recombinant human MMP-2, expressed as a pro-enzyme, becomes highly active when incubated with APMA. It can be used as a positive control in FRET-based enzyme activity assay, Western Blot, and ELISA.
