This is the amino acids 323 to 335 fragment of the human Tau protein. Amyloid pathology is accompanied by the presence of various isoforms of this human protein in neurofibrillary tangles. This peptide was used as an immunogen to develop the anti-Tau antibody BR135. This sequence is common to known Tau isoforms.
