Description

This C-terminal biotinylated Aß (2-16) contains a 6-carbon long chain (LC) to provide more accessibility for streptin/avidin attachment. The biotin-LC is conjugated to the side chain of the additional C-terminal lysine. This beta-amyloid peptide was found to organize into beta sheets and form fibrils.
