ROX dyes have longer excitation and emission wavelengths than the other ‘conventional’ rhodamines. These dyes are used in labeling peptides, proteins, and other biological ligands. ROX-protein conjugates are very stable and are suitable for immunofluorescent staining, in situ hybridization, flow cytometry and other biological applications. The kit has all the essential components for performing the conjugation reaction and for purifying the ROX-protein conjugates. The kit is able to perform three conjugation reactions with each reaction labeling up to 5 mg IgG.
