Description

This peptide is residues 9-36 of glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1). GLP-1 is a neuroendocrine hormone derived from preproglucagon secreted by intestinal L cells. GLP-1 stimulates glucose-dependent insulin secretion and inhibits glucagon secretion.
