This peptide is histone H2B (1-22) phosphorylated at Ser14, followed by a C-terminal GGK linker, with biotinylation on the epsilon side chain of Lys. Phosphorylation at Ser14 is catalyzed by mammalian sterile twenty (Mst)-1 kinase and is associated with double-stranded DNA breaks and apoptotic cells. Provided at >95% peptide purity, this peptide was dissolved in distilled water at 1 mg/ml and re-lyophilized to powder form.
