This peptide is histone H3 (1-21) with deimination at Arg2, converting it to Cit (citrulline). It is biotinylated through a C-terminal GGK linker. Arg2 is deiminated by peptidyl arginine deiminase 4 (PADI4). Conversion to citrulline blocks methylation at this site and inhibits transcriptional activation. Provided at >95% peptide purity, this peptide was dissolved in distilled water at 1 mg/ml and re-lyophilized to powder form.
