This peptide is histone H4 (1-23) with phosphorylation at Ser1, followed by a C-terminal GGK with biotinylation on the side chain of this Lys. Phosphorylation at Ser1 has been shown to inhibit NuA4 histone acetyltransferase activity. NuA4 is implicated in transcription and DNA repair. Provided at >95% peptide purity, this peptide was dissolved in distilled water at 1 mg/ml and re-lyophilized to powder form.
