| AnaTag™ Protein Labeling Kits – World-Class Performance Made Easy |
|
|
The labeling of proteins and antibodies with fluorescent dyes is crucial for researchers who use flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and fluorescent in-situ hybridization
techniques. Incorporating some of the industry’s brightest and most photostable dyes in an ultra-fast, ultra-convenient kit, AnaSpec is pleased to showcase its line of
AnaTag™ Protein Labeling Kits – a perfect marriage of performance and convenience.
High-Performance HiLyte Fluor™ Dyes
AnaTag™ Protein Labeling Kits incorporate AnaSpec’s proprietary HiLyte Fluor™ dyes.
HiLyte Fluor™ dyes provide:
More intense fluorescence than classic dyes such as FITC, TAMRA, and ROX
Greater photostability than FITC, Cy3, and Cy5 dyes.
Compared to Cy3 and Cy5, HiLyte Fluor™ 555 and 647-protein conjugates are only slightly red-shifted, resulting in a more optimal match to filters
designed for Cy3 and 5 dyes.
Recent studies indicate that HiLyte Fluor™ 555 and 647 are superior to Cy3 and Cy5 in fluorescence polarization-based assays.
Unlike Cy5 dyes, HiLyte Fluor™ 647 dyes have very little change in absorption or fluorescence spectra when conjugated to most proteins, oligonucleotides
and nucleic acids, thus yielding greater total fluorescence at the same degree of substitution.
Utilizing both HiLyte Fluor™ and classic dyes, AnaTagTM Protein Labeling span the spectrum from blue to far red and NIR.
Ultra-Convenient
AnaTag™ Protein Labeling Kits provide a fast and convenient kit for labeling primary and secondary antibodies.
Labeling time - as short as 30 minutes
All essential components for conjugation reaction and purification of dye-protein conjugates
Available in two convenient reaction sizes: Micro-scale labeling kit: 200 ug x 3 reactions or 100 ug x 5 reactions and larger scale labeling kit: 5 mg x 3 reactions
Industry-standard amine-reactive chemistry
Stable dye-protein conjugate products
The succinimidyl ester (SE) reactive form of the labeling dye reacts with the amine group on the protein and forms stable carboxamide bonds which are identical to and as
stable as the natural peptide bond. These dye?protein conjugates are very stable and are suitable for immunofluorescent staining, fluorescence in situ hybridization, flow
cytometry and other biological applications.
AnaTag™ Protein Labeling Kits combine world-class performance and convenience without compromising on value. By caring for both the research and
budgetary needs of our customers, AnaSpec is perfecting The Science of Trust™.
