Size 50 µg
Catalog # 29553
US$ $193
Description

Host: Rabbit

Species Reactivity: Human, mouse

Application: WB, IHC

Product Description: This polyclonal anti-actin antibody is supplied as an epitope affinity purified rabbit IgG, 50 µg in 250 µl of phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 0.02% sodium azide.

Immunogen: Rabbit polyclonal anti-Actin antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to N-terminus of actin from human smooth muscle.

Application Notes: The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points. Optimal working concentrations for specific application should be determined by the investigator.

WB: 0.5 - 2 µg/ml
IHC:1:50-1:200 for 10 min

Figure 1. Western blot of actin, smooth muscle in 3T3 cell (Lane A), and mouse heart whole tissue lysate (Lane B) labeled with anti-Actin antibody alpha, smooth muscle (cat#29553) at a concentration of 1 ug/ml. Goat anti-rabbit IgG (H+L), highly cross-adsorbed, HiLyte Fluor™ 750-labeled secondary antibody (Cat# 61056-05-H750 or 61056-1-H750) was used and the signals detected using an infrared-imaging system (Odyssey, Li-Cor).

Figure 2. Human Leiomyoma stained with anti-Actin antibody (Cat# 29553) by IHC Histain Kit-AEC. Formalin-fixed tissues boiled in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 min, followed by cooling at RT for 20 min, and probed at a dilution of 1:100 for 10 min at room temperature.
