The native peptide, PLSRTLSVAAKK-NH2 (cat# 27177), is a synthetic substrate partially derived from a sequence in glycogen synthase. It is an effective substrate for CaM kinase II and protein kinase C (PKC). It is readily phosphorylated by PKC (Km = 4.1 µM).
