This peptide is amino acids 420 to 429 fragment of Host Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER-2), derived from the EC2 region and also known as the neu oncogene H2-Dq-restricted epitope. HER-2 is a tumor-associated antigen expressed in breast cancer cells that may be used for the development of anti-angiogenesis tumor vaccines.
