This peptide is histone H3 58-89 with dimethylation at Lys79 and biotin-labeled through a C-terminal GGK linker. Lys79 methylation is mediated by DOT1 protein. It has been shown that dimethylation at Lys79 is important for transcriptional activation via mixed lineage leukemia gene (MLL)-ENL-ER and MLL-AF9. Provided at >95% peptide purity, this peptide was dissolved in distilled water at 1 mg/ml and re-lyophilized to powder form.
