In accordance with ISO 9001:2015 (article 8.4.3), Kaneka Eurogentec S.A. is willing to communicate in an open manner with its external providers. To do so, Kaneka Eurogentec S.A. commitment is to ensure that requirements are appropriate prior to communicating them to the external providers. These requirements relate to:

A) Processes, products and services

This communication will be done through the agreements signed between our companies or through the purchase orders related to these processes, products and services.

B) Approval and release of products, services, methods, processes and equipment

This approval will be made on the basis of criteria such as:
  • The compliance with specifications and requirements mentioned in the agreement or in the purchase order ;
  • The condition of delivered products ;
  • The expiry date ;
  • The supply of a certificate of analysis ;
  • The supply of a delivery note related to the service performed ;
  • The quality control of raw materials ;
  • On-time delivery
This list is not exhaustive and Kaneka Eurogentec S.A. may, in its sole discretion, communicate criteria other than those mentioned above before giving its approval.

C) Competences required of the external providers to perform the services or supply the products

The skills of the external providers will be sufficient to ensure that the tasks entrusted by Kaneka Eurogentec S.A. will be carried out in an efficient and professional manner, using reasonable skills, care and diligence. External providers will also be required to carry out their missions in accordance with generally accepted industry standards.

D) Interactions between Kaneka Eurogentec S.A. and external providers

In the case Kaneka Eurogentec S.A. requirements regarding delivery times or quality cannot be met, external providers are required to contact their Kaneka Eurogentec SA representative or the purchasing department within 3 working days.

E) Controlling and monitoring the performance of external providers

Kaneka Eurogentec S.A. assesses the performance of its external providers. The type of assessment is in accordance with criteria defined by Kaneka Eurogentec S.A., such as the quality of the service or product provided, the quality system, complaints addressed to external providers, etc.

F) Inspection or validation processes that Kaneka Eurogentec S.A. intends to carry out at the premises of external providers

Provided a prior written notice of ten (10) working days (or one (1) working day in case of emergency or any problem related to quality), external provider shall allow Kaneka Eurogentec S.A. personnel and representatives to perform audits of external provider facilities, raw data or any other document relating to the service performed. If requested to do so, external providers shall also authorize competent authority to audit these facilities, raw data or other documents relating to the service performed. Within thirty (30) calendar days of the receipt of the audit report issued by Kaneka Eurogentec S.A., external providers shall provide a written response addressing all findings requiring corrective and / or preventive action.

This notice shall apply to any contractual relationship between Kaneka Eurogentec S.A. and its external providers, provided that it shall not supersede the provisions of any other contractual document governing the relationship between Kaneka Eurogentec S.A. and its external providers which shall remain valid.
