The mission of this team member is to oversee production of antibody, protein expression, purification, and conjugation projects. This position also includes development of new products for life science research including assay development, recombinant proteins and conjugation techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently plan, design, and execute experiments, and report project activities
• Independently troubleshoot antibody production processes
• Prepare product datasheets, SOPs
• Provide technical support for products
• Participate in training other team members
• Actively work on custom service projects
• Develop new products for life sciences
• Prepare clear and concise oral and written presentations of results
• Ensure implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of QMS through SOP documentation.
• Following and ensuring to strict safety procedures and safety tasks is required
• Follows protocols, designs, sets-up and conducts basic experiments
• Analyzes and troubleshoots methods and data obtained from individual experiments
• Recommends alternatives and suggestions to improve processes, validity and/or accuracy

REQUIREMENTS

• PhD or BS/MS Degree in life science related field with experience
• Experience with antibody purification and validation, recombinant protein expression and purification and protein labeling, conjugation
• Team player, passionate and enthusiastic
• Flexible, creative, and skilled at problem solving
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask when performing job duties
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to technical details
• Demonstrated ability to use computer programs, including, but not limiting Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Interest in learning and introducing of new techniques and skills
