AnaSpec is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Laboratory Assistant to support GMP and research grade downstream manufacturing operations. This role will assist the production team with laboratory preparation, equipment cleaning, documentation, material handling, and general operational support within a regulated GMP environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or laboratory operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist GMP and research grade production staff with downstream laboratory operations and daily activities
• Prepare laboratory materials, buffers, solutions, and supplies as directed
• Clean, organize, and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas
• Support batch record documentation and GMP data entry practices
• Perform preparative column packing activities
• Label, stage, and transfer raw materials, samples, and consumables
• Assist with inventory organization and stock replenishment
• Support equipment setup, cleaning verification, and room readiness activities
• Ensure implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of QMS through SOP documentation
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field preferred
• Prior laboratory experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced laboratory environment
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Part-time schedule with flexible hours based on operational needs

Compensation

$24-26 per hour
