AMINO ACIDS & SYNTHESIS REAGENTS
Unusual Amino Acids
Our wide collection of unusual amino acids include analogs, modified a.a's, specialty building blocks, pegylated a.a's etc. suited for a variety of research applications including post-translational modifications.
Analogs of Amino Acids
Unusual or Unnatural amino acids are “non-proteinogenic” because they are not encoded genetically, or incorporated during translation. Unnatural Amino Acid (UAADs) can be exploited to enhance the stability, or functionality of a therapeutic target, and can be site specifically incorporated into synthetic custom peptides.
Specialty/Functional UAAs
Specially functionalized building blocks such as Azide/alkyne, pegylated amino acids etc, can be useful for specialized synthesis applications. In addition, PTM amino acids available with functional groups modified into amino acids can serve as starting materials for modified peptides synthesis for relevant applications.
