This peptide is a major histocompatibility complex class II (MHC-II)-restricted peptide, LLO190 (NEKYAQAYPNVS), from the listeriolysin O protein of Listeria monocytogenes, which generates an LLO190-specific Th response. This peptide subsequently challenge recombinant L. monocytogenes expressing the MHC-I-restricted epitope of ovalbumin (Ova257, SIINFEKL).
