This peptide is histone H3 (1-21) with deimination at Arg17, converting it to Cit (Citrulline). It is biotinylated through a C-terminal GGK linker. Deimination by peptidyl arginine deiminase 4 (PADI4) blocks methylation by the CARM1 methyltransferase and inhibits transcriptional activation. Provided at >95% peptide purity, this peptide was dissolved in distilled water at 1 mg/ml and re-lyophilized to powder form.
