This peptide is Histone H4 (1-23). It is monomethylated at lysine 20 with a C-terminal GG linker, followed by a biotinylated lysine. The monomethylation of histone H4 at lysine 20 is proposed to be a crucial mark for chromosomal memory. It is also very active throughout the cell cycle and is abundant during S phase. Provided at >95% peptide purity, this peptide was dissolved in distilled water at 1 mg/ml and re-lyophilized to powder form.
