This is histone H3 (21-44) phosphorylated at Ser28 with an additional C-terminal glycine followed by a biotinylated lysine. Phosphorylation of Ser28 occurs in prophase of mitosis and is associated with the initiation of chromosome condensation. Provided at >95% peptide purity, this peptide was dissolved in distilled water at 1 mg/ml and re-lyophilized to powder form.
